The Connected Restaurant - Three Ireland

The Connected Restaurant was a limited-time transatlantic pop-up restaurant. The idea was unique in that it was designed with a cultural community, and a sub-group of that community, in mind. Three Ireland is a mobile and data network that believes in the power of connection. Three used the pop-up restaurant to not only connect Irish immigrants with people back in Ireland, but also some of the undocumented Irish community in New York. They were given the opportunity to experience the impossible - having a Christmas dinner with their loved ones back home, despite not being able to leave the country.

Our consumer-facing brand film focused on the Mooney family, who were unable to come home for Christmas as they were expecting their next child. Paul, an American-citizen originally from Limerick was able to share a special day with his family back home and the film became the most shared spot in Ireland over Christmas.

However, while Paul and his family had their experience, we also reached out to the Irish Undocumented community who were hidden in plain sight, with a radio sport that only they would understand. We called it The Undocumented Code.
